FreeAXP failed to create configuration file on Vista

FYI, the configuration wizard still crashes for me with 271 on the same Win 7 x64 Enterprise machine. But I tried 271 on a different Win 7 x64 Home Premium machine and it worked fine.

The same problem seems to have been reported on Windows Server 2003 in the thread:

FreeAXP fails crating configuration on server 2003

Could you please EXACTLY describe what you've been doing ? Each mouse-click and each data item entered ?

FWIW, I have used the .271 Configuration Wizard on Windows 7 Enterprise x64 and have not seen such a problem. So this problem may depend on exactly what one's doing ...
