OpenVMS Alpha Base License CPU Type was created by mamf
I am planning to use "OpenVMS Alpha Hobbyist Kit V4.0" with FreeAXP
1- As the FreeAXP emulates "AlphaServer 400" any idea on which CPU Type should I use? There are more than one options* available. Is that even correct?
2- A suppose "CPU Serial Number" should be NONE, is that correct?
* Available options are:
- AlphaServer 400 4/166
- AlphaServer 400 4/233
- AlphaServer 400 4/266
- AlphaServer 400 4/300
3- Are these numbers indicating BUS speeds?

I'm running FreeAXP now, and it shows:
< class='quote' style='width:400px;white-space:nowrap;overflow:auto'>

$ show cpu
System: BUNDY, AlphaServer 400 4/166
CPU ownership sets:
Active 0
Configure 0

Cheers,
Hein

No. The "4" indicates an EV4 generation CPU, and 166,233,... are the MHz CPU speeds.

Martin, your reply made me to check the following article on the history of Alpha processors.
