FreeAXP and Synergy DBL executables was created by UKPaulG
Hi all !

Please forgive me if my first post is a numpty level one!

I've previously worked on Vax and Alpha OpenVMS systems, for around 20 years, and after a several year break am now back, looking after an old Alpha 3000-700. As some of you will know from another forum, this system has finally given up the ghost and I am looking at other options.

It has been suggested (thanks Bruce!) that I maybe look at Alpha emulation packages, and FreeAXP may well suit my purposes.

However, and here is the low level question, the application that I would be porting is written in an old-ish version of Synergy DBL.....will these executables work under FreeAXP?

Thanks very much,
Paul

An emulators job is to duplicate the underlying hardware so well the O/S and executables cannot tell the difference. They should run just fine.
