I am a complete novice when it comes to OpenVMS and I'm stumbling. Downloaded and burnt CD for Alpha84.iso so am trying to install OpenVMS.
When I power up FreeAXP and try to boot I get this:
----
┌─┬─┬─┬─┬─┬─┬─┠V i r t u a l serial0
│F│r│e│e│A│X│P│ A l p h a on emulator BASELOG (128 M<img src='../images/smiley/cool.gif' alt='smiley'>

>>>boot dka0
(boot dka0.0.0.6.0 -flags 0)
block 0 of dka0.0.0.6.0 is not a valid boot block
bootstrap failure

I need an Idiot's Guide but in the meantime can anyone advise on how I can get over this initial stumble?
TIA

Problem solved <img src='../images/smiley/smile.gif' alt='smiley'>
I had inadvertently made my 512 mb disk a CD also. Setting another disk as CD allows me to boot.
